General
Motors Automobiles Philippines Inc. (GMPh), the domestic subsidiary of the
world's largest car manufacturer, awarded the prestigious 2003 Gold Mark
of Excellence- Dealer of the Year Award to GM AutoWorld Shaw in a dinner
held recently at the Mandarin Hotel.
The
GM Gold Mark of Excellence Awards culminates the annual GM Dealer's Night,
which recognizes and acknowledges the valuable contribution of GM
dealerships nationwide and the company's workforce in ensuring the
delivery of world-class automotive products and services to the consumers.
"This
is the second year that we are giving the Gold Mark of Excellence to the
dealer that best embodies what General Motors stands for-excellence,
passion and quality service," says James Lim, GMPh president and
general manager.
GM
AutoWorld Shaw has bagged the award for two consecutive years with
Chevrolet Pampanga as runner-up. Other awards honored include Team Member
Excellence Award (Sunshine Papio of GM AutoWorld Makati-Sales Consultant
of the Year, Ronald Gazmin of GM AutoWorld Makati- Service Technician of
the Year, Benhur Isidro of GM AutoWorld Quezon Avenue- Service Advisor of
the Year) and Departmental Awards (Chevrolet Pampanga-
Sales
Department of the Year; GM AutoWorld Makati - Aftersales Department of the
Year; GM AutoWorld Shaw - Finance Department of the Year; Chevrolet
Pampanga- Best in Customer Satisfaction).
GM
AutoWorld Shaw General Manager Raul Evangelista said, "The success we
have achieved would not have been possible if not for the dedication and
commitment of all the team members of GM AutoWorld Shaw, the support of GM
Philippines and the inspiration from the GM dealer network." Dealer
Principal Timmy Limcaoco adds, "We have a good team and I'm very
