General Motors Automobiles Philippines (GMPh) last week introduced the
first-ever Chevrolet Service Clinic for Venture owners at the Chevrolet
Pasig showroom along E. Rodriquez Jr., Avenue (C-5 Road).
T
he
joint team of aftersales executives from GM Philippines and Shanghai
General Motors (SGM) conducted the Service Clinic for Venture owners.
Aimed at educating owners on the proper care and maintenance of their GM
vehicle, specifically the Chevrolet Venture, the one-afternoon session
discussed various topics including preventive maintenance, vehicle
warranty, car features and benefits of original parts among others.
Prior to the Service Clinic for Venture
owners, a whole-day session dedicated to training GM technicians was
conducted in order to increase their knowledge of handling automotive
repair and maintenance for Chevrolet Venture, therefore enhancing quality
of aftersales service.
The session with the Chevrolet Venture
owners, on the other hand, aimed to increase customers’ knowledge about
their automotive investment in order to optimize vehicle ownership
satisfaction.
Regularly conducted by General Motors in
the region and worldwide, the pilot Service Clinic was initiated due to
the increasing number of Chevrolet Venture owners in the Philippines.
Plans to conduct similar sessions for the rest of Chevrolet product
line-up and across all GM brands are also underway.
"The clinic was a very good opportunity
for customers to familiarize themselves with the service offerings of GM
AutoWorld and Chevrolet dealerships in terms of parts availability and
maintenance services," said Mike Nacua, aftersales director of GMPh.
"The clinic also served as an avenue for
General Motors to have a better understanding of customer experiences and
their emerging needs," added Nacua.
The visiting SGM team was composed of
Daiquan Wang, technical manager – Aftersales Department, Xiang Wang,
quality & reliability engineering manager – Quality Department, Fred
Teach, director – Commercial Trade, Ming Lei deputy director – Commercial
Trade.
"With our continuous effort of training
our pool of technicians and after-sales personnel and ensuring high
standards of services, the Chevrolet Service Clinic demonstrates how GM
puts customer satisfaction at the top of its priority list through
innovative value-added initiatives," said Nacua.
